A seven-time world champion, triathlete, Karen McKeachie, has been reportedly crushed to death by a speeding car while cycling during the weekend.
63-year-old 7-time world champion triathlete, Karen McKeachie from Ann Arbor, Michigan, has been killed after she was hit by a car while cycling on her bike near the city of Chelsea, USA on Friday, reportedly died at the scene.
According to a report by
Dailymail, the elite athlete who was inducted into the USA Triathlon Hall of Fame in 2014, won the US National Championships 17 times and is believed to be the oldest woman to win a triathlon – taking home a title when she was 58 years old.
Police have revealed little information about what happened and are still investigating as no one has been arrested.
