Neymar scored the fifth and final penalty to hand Brazil Olympic Gold after Nils Petersen missed for Germany.
The game began with Neymar bagging a superb free-kick, which curled into the top corner and left Germany goalkeeper Timo Horn with no chance.
With that effort Brazil deservedly led, but in the second half, Max Meyer fired in a superb leveller to bring the Germans back into the game and the two sides could not be separated until penalties.
