Nigerians have taken to diverse social media platforms to bare their minds on the technical victory of Godwin Obaseki at the heated Edo governorship election.

The All Progressives Congress (APC) party candidate in the in Edo State gubernatorial election, Godwin Obaseki, is set to be announced the winner of the contest in the two-way race as he leads the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Pastor Ize-Iyamu, winning most of the votes.

This has attracted the responses of Nigerians on social media as a crack has been created due to different political affiliations of the people.

Pastor Ize-Iyamu of the PDP is coming at the second position in the votes collated and announced by INEC so far.
