Eden Hazard wins Player of the Month award
Eden Hazard has been crowned the Premier League's best player of the month for October.
The Belgium international has returned to form in 2016-17 having looked a shadow of the player who was indisputably the best attacker in the league when Chelsea stormed to the 2014-15 title.
Hazard kicked off October on the periphery of the Blues' 2-0 victory over Hull City - the first game in a string of five consecutive victories and clean sheets.
He took centre stage in the following clash against reigning champions Leicester City, who were trampled 3-0 at Stamford Bridge on October 15. Hazard whipped the corner in for the opener and scored the second goal.
Hazard's greatest moment of the month came against Manchester United, whom they thrashed 4-0 thanks to a stellar performance from the Belgian wing wizard.
The 25-year-old rounded off October with another goal as they defeated Southampton 2-0 at St Mary's.
Chelsea are placed second in the Premier League after 11 games and return from the international break with a visit to Middlesbrough, who have held Manchester City and Arsenal to draws in the last month.
