FUTA VC’s vehicle hit SSANU member during protest

The vehicle conveying the Vice Chancellor of the Federal Universities of Technology, Akure, Prof. Adebiyi Daramola, on Monday allegedly hit a member of the Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities in the institution, identified as Biodun Atunbi during protest.


Prof. Daramola has been having a bad time with members of the three labour unions on the campus as the latter insisted that the VC must be sacked following an allegation of financial mismanagement .

According to an eyewitness, the embattled VC was attempting to escape from the protesting workers when his vehicle hit the SSANU member.
