A second meeting between the Chairman of the People's Democratic Party Governor's Forum, Olusegun Mimiko and President Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressives Congress seems to have confirmed a scheme by the governor to swing in support of the APC candidate ahead of the governorship election in Ondo.

Governor Olusegun Mimiko is again meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari inside the Presidential Villa, Abuja with sketchy details of their discussion, according to the Punch.
This is the second time the governor will be visiting Buhari since the crisis over who the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in the state governorship election is started.
He also met briefly with the President inside his aircraft when he (Buhari) visited Akure, the state capital for the grand finale of the governorship campaign of the All Progressives Congress on Saturday.
Rumours have been emanating that Mimiko has agreed to align with his former lawyer and old schoolmate, Rotimi Akeredolu to railroad him to the Alagbaka Government House.
This is coming after his anointed candidate, Eyitayo Jegede was sidelined by the leadership crack of the PDP which has become a subject of litigation.
